So, I have the ACTAR F1 4-16 zero stop glass on my LMT MWS. Im getting ready to rezero it and the zero stop. I remember the zero stop was a bit different when I got it a year ago. Now I have forgotten. What advice do you have ? I have multiple NXS and one other F2 ACTAR.

Any help appreciated.

It's more complicated than it should be, but the instructions are solid

Getting the zero stop set isn't that complicated, I think NF wrote it out to a farther extent then I would have but it's not bad, it will take literally about half a minute to set up, if that. If you have torx screws to secure the clamp wheel they are T-6, I know the directions say phillips but they were replaced a while back because of issues with them stripping out. Nightforce makes a nifty tool with the three bits you'd need to zero out and set the zero stop on the ATACR, NXS, and NXS Compact scopes. I bought my 4-16 used so it didn't come with the tool but I called them up and they sent me one at no charge.

Thanks a million, the NXS is what I know cold, but I couldn't remember the T-6. I have NXS, ATACR and one SHV. I will be ordering the tool set. Exactly what I needed. And I couldn't remember if the tool I was thinking about was the one that came with my Burris XTR 1-8 or this ACTAR.

Should be good to go now with one question, what is the whole "set so you can go below zero 2mils / 5 MOA?

Beast would be nice! Someday maybe.

So is the Zero Hold set up in such a way that once set, you should not have to reset it when putting the scope on a different rifle, provided that you do not have to move the zero more than 2mils/5moa lower?
