who make a good flip cap for this scope and if you know the product number and place where I could buy them would be appreciated....

i would get a scope coat. i don't like the flip caps on nightforce because the ocular turns and havn't a flip cover there is annoying. but if you really want to go with a flip cap, i have them here and can find a pair that fit

I got a 1 size larger eye cap and put a layer of electrical tape inside it so it's snug, but not as snug as the correct size cap. That way I can rotate it as needed to get the flip cap out of the way when I'm changing power or easily pop the whole thing off when it gets annoying.

I run an objective cover on the eye piece and run it on an angle from 2 o'clock to 7 o'clock, depending on power.
Not sure what size it is. It was laying around and thought I'd give it a whirl and kinda like it.

That is one thing that I miss about leupold is the thred in aluminum covers. they really do a good job- I guess I'm kinda surprised that NF doesn't have something more durable than the rubber stretchy dohickey?

Midway has the thread in ones for nxt. Could not find them on web site but I have a master catalog and have seen them in the optic ass. Section

After searching for caps that fit my NXS 56mm scope, finally found Butler Creek ones that fit. They make caps that fit 50mm objective as well. But be warned, after only a few times out shooting, snap...broken. Now I'm back to original bikini covers that came with scope, which I don't have to worry about breaking and actually stay closed.
Otherwise scope coat would be the way to go.

I've not had good luck withe Butler Creek flip caps. I also went back to the bikini cover.

I believe someone makes ARD flashkill that screws into sunshine for NXS scopes, that would be an alternative.
