Rifle Scopes NF MLR ?

Re: NF MLR ?

Go to the Nightforce page and look at it. You'll see that its an original design. It has half mil markings along the entire reticle and at 12 and 3, it has .1 mil markings on the extremes for more precise ranging.

It is based on MIL System. The MLR is a line system not a DOT system.

Re: NF MLR ?

I have two of the NF's with the MLR. I had guessed that the reticle was NF's own and some what simular to Leupolds TMR. I purchase the Shooter app for my Droid and it gives the USMC or Army choices only. So, I was just needing to know what Mildot version to pick. I also have the NF ballistic software for the PDA and purchased the Shooter app as a back up.

Re: NF MLR ?

I have an MLR and it has really taught me a lot about ranging, correcting shots, and shooting.

The Nightforce reticles and turrets are so precise that I have come to trust them completely. Doesn't even require thinking -- just measure with the reticle and correct with the turrets.

My MLR has mil-radian turrets. I don't think it would be very handy with MOA turrets and would opt for the np-1 or np-2 reticle if not willing to pony up the bucks for mil-radian turrets.

Solid !
