Does anyone know what NF charges to do a reticle swap?

I have an NXS 3.5-15x50 F1.

Would they put a Mil-C in an NXS scope?

Curious and any info would be appreciated.

From my experience with manufacturers in general, most will not put a reticle in a scope that isn’t offered as a factory option in general.
As far as NF specifically, I highly doubt it because I had a 7-35 mil-r before the 7-35 mil-c was released. I asked them if they would do that conversion for me and they said no they would not.
From an optomechanical perspective they would have to resize the entire reticle for basically a 1 off scope. Especially since the F1 3.5-15 is discontinued.
Long story short I’d bet it’s a solid no.

@Covertnoob5 i was thinking the same thing but NF now offers the Mil-C in a 50mm objective also. I’m going to get in touch with them this week and get a solid answer. I’ll report back. I appreciate the feedback though brother.

No problem.
While yes, They do offer it in a 50mm but it’s not that simple, yours is a 3.5-15 not a 4-16. And the NXS line and ATACR line are 2 entirely different scopes. They don’t even use the same spec’d glass. And the rest of the design isn’t close either so it’s not a “swap a 50mm for a 50mm” simple type of thing.

@koshkin should be able to give better detail on the difficulty something like this would require.

A friend of mine got a quote for his NSX. I believe he told me it had a mil reticle and MOA turrets. I believe it was $400 for a reticle swap and $350 for a turret swap. That lines up with StrayDog’s numbers so I would guess that is accurate. These numbers were as of about 6 months ago.
