prepping for a range trip and still being a newbie shooting accurately at longer distances, i was jonesing badly for one of LaRue's OBR Lites topped with a NF Velocity Reticle LV for the .223, here's my question it relates to Bryan Litz'e book that i have been reading in relation to using the NF Velocity program online with G1 BC vs G7 BC at 2660fps:
For 77gr Sierra Match King the G7 BC that Bryan gives is .190 and the G1 BC that Bryan gives is .371
am i missing something somewhere??
when inputing the info into the NF online calculator for the G7 BC it says to sight in the 200 bar at 302yds
vs.
when inputing the info for the G1 BC it says sight in at 213yds at the 200yd bar
thats an 89yd difference, seems a bit much, i am brand new with this reticle and it seems to match well with wanting to shoot varmints, i shot the question over to NF last night, not sure how long their turn around time to reply is
any thoughts here??
