So Simple it's Stupid... Add a Tie Wrap and they can't be beat.

They fill up with water when it rains and when you are hunting they snag up and fall off. I prefer flip caps that don't break and fit well. NOS Butler Creeks are good, the newer ones are bad plastic and break way too easily.
