Rifle Scopes Night Force First Focal Plane + Horus reticle

about 8 weeks ago I ordered this from a 'major' online source of optics. I was originally told to expect 6-8 weeks delivery. Now I am being told it will be another 7 weeks. Total ~15 weeks. Can anyone confirm this as typical? Or should I be as upset as I am. I totally understand that quality takes time... but 15 weeks for a high end scope???

Yep, Nightforce is in the middle of a big military contract and they are working there tails off there. Who did you order it from?

Try EuroOptics. According to their website they have one in stock, but that could be different in reality. I'd say give Alex a call though.

As for your other retailer, well there could have been a problem with their delivery from the manufacturer or any number of other issues. Typical... yeah, kind of but it depends on who you're dealing with.

nightforce just moved to an 18 week lead time, and had a batch of front focal reticles get rejected. it'll probably be a little while for those. also, that horus is typically a special order item due to the added cost. nightforce have been at 16 weeks for lead times for the better part of this year.

Kinda on the same topic, but I have heard rumors of a F1 5.5x22, is this true?

thanks for the info. I just wish the original guesstimate would have been a little more accurate so I could have wrapped my head around it, rather than get whiplash in that last Email from the supplier. Oh well

We just go some more in stock for and we hand them on order for 13 weeks. I know they are running 16 to 18 weeks out.

Sorry I can only be vague. Yes the 5-25x56 FFP is not a rumor.
