Rifle Scopes Night Force ?

Re: Night Force ?

OK thanks,

If they ever do 1/2 or 1 moa I'd be up for one, but for the type of shooting I do, a 1/4 moa is useless to me.

The 1/10 is really close to a half MOA. I prefer MIL on MIL scopes, everything is in 10s.

Re: Night Force ?

Really a IPHY guy but would settle for MOA if I had to. Every thing in my old data books(TO&E gear, both sides)is given in inch's.
Plus everything I've added sense being here is in inch's as well, stop signs, windows, ect. Everyone I shoot with and Partner with, are IPHY or MOA, none of us are wanting to change, at our ages.

Re: Night Force ?

No, not really. I prefer 1/2 first and 1 's second, I don't shoot much paper scores at all. The bulk of mine is either IPHY/moa or better targets, it's either a hit or miss score.
1/4" knobs slow everything down for me, as I use the reticle only to about a grand then spin up the rest, or add 50"of knob and hold the rest needed.

One of the reasons I love USO's EREK in 1/2 IPHY, I get 45" in one turn, and can't get lost at night. I've seen many get lost with 1/4" in daylight. I believe only paper shooters an LE need 1/4" or 1/8" knobs and that's fine, but for tacti-cool shooting most would do better with 1/2 or better when time is thrown in. Even with 1/2" knobs you can still hold a 1/4 or 1/8 off if need be, if your reticle is up to it. Time is a killer at some comps and the faster you can dial or hold your up, the smoother you become on target.

They do not make these scope with the Hi-Speed 0 Stop turrets. That would be cool.

I have seen the MIL version that has 1moa turrets. I can look into this more if you would like.
