I went shooting at my local 100 yard range today, and noticed parallax in my scope. Does anyone know what the Nightforce compact 2.5-10X32's Parallax is set to? I'm thinking 200 yards but I'm not sure.

I try to keep my head in as consistent a position as possible but can only do so much. Almost every 5 shot group I do at 100 yards looks like this. 4 in a tight group with one way out there. Would parallax be the reason for this? I don't do it with my bolt gun, but I'm thinking the added difficulty of the follow through with a semi-auto would be a factor as well.

Yeah I assumed a parallax issue would cause a more random group. It's most likely me pulling the shot or inconsistent shoulder pressure. Lock time on this rifle (M1a) is considerably longer than any bolt gun.

The last shot out of a gas gun is a little different than the rest because the BCG stays open changing the 'harmonics' of the shot cycle. This might cause those flyers you're talking about. Hope this helps.
