I thought the 20 moa would bring the scope higher in the front not the rear?

Elevated rails push the LOS and objective lens down towards the barrel, bringing the barrel and POI up. Meaning your scope reticle is wound up higher on the thread when zeroed allowing more down travel at distance...

What color configuration is that stock? I like that color...
