For those that have an F1 with the MLR reticle how easy is it to see the reticle at 3.5 power? Can you see the .5 and 1 mil graduation marks?
Has anyone heard if NF will be making a 5.5-22 F1 model?

You can see the main crosshairs fine at very low powers.

My experience has been that if I have a scope turned down that far, it's because I'm dealing with a target at close range, probably moving. In situations like that, there is simply no need to be reading the marks on the reticle. If you need a lead or a holdoff, just hold off relative to the size of the target.

I've never been in a situation where I needed reticle marks but needed the scope dialed below about 6 power. Which is not to say such a situation might not exist, but it's not immediately obvious why.

There are rumors of a 5.5-22 FFP, but I've heard no announcement of when.

Its pretty tough unless you have time and are shooting at a stationary target.
I've heard rumors of a scope with similar mag range as the 5.5-22 in a ffp but nothing concrete.

If a person can see the main crosshair at low power without any problems that is all that matters to me. The only reason that I asked if a person can see the grads at low power is to get an even better idea of what the subtension of this reticle looks like at low power in comparison to my S&B P4's.
I have S&B's with P4 and P4 fine reticles in comparable magnifications and the F1 MLR subtension falls between the two P4 reticles.

The main crosshairs do not extend to the outside of the ocular lens edges (at low power) AND they are hollow, instead of solid, like the P4 series.

So you have a very hard to see, little, floating, semi visible X in the center of the FOV. I don't get it at all.

I love their scopes (and have 2 other SFP's), but the reticle in that scope is crazy, and the vendor I bought it from (and returned it to) said they get a lot of returns on that model because of the crosshair.

Lots of people love the scope, but I would look through one first, if possible.
