Rifle Scopes Nightforce 3.5x15x50 scope clarity.

I have owned several Nightforce scopes. I have a 3.5x15x50 with a zero stop and high speed it is the npr1 recticle. My question is my recticle isnt dark enough and I have tried to focus my scope and It just doesnt get any darker or clearer. I have compared it side by side with my 5.5x22x50 and another 3.5x15x50 and it just isnt even close to the others. Any thoughts or ideas?

Sometimes tinkering with the focus ring and parallax adjustment helps.

This subject seems to come up occasionally.

I had a heck of a time getting my NXS NP-R2 reticle to focus. I monkeyed with it several times before it was acceptable. Followed the procedure to the letter and it never was all that to me.

couple of old guys i shoot with swear by these, it enhances your reticle, makes reticle look bigger/clearer
