    The Account Manager is responsible for various aspects of product sales, managing accounts and relationships for growth, prospecting and signing on new accounts, and effectively communicating the benefits and features of the Nightforce Optics product line and dealer programs for the domestic market. The Account Manager is responsible for obtaining monthly and yearly sales goals and meeting budgets.

    Technical Experience, Qualifications & Skills Required:

    -A degree in business or business-related field, or equivalent combination of work experience and education
    -Three years in a sales role within a similar product range or industry, preferred
    -Proven understanding and achievements of effective selling skills, principles and methods
    -Proficient ability to communicate mechanical and technical aspects of products and designs
    -Must be motivated, goal-oriented and a skilled negotiator
    -Must be proficient with MS Office – solid understanding of Word, Excel and Power Point
    -Possess and promote strong and effective written and oral communication skills to include using proper grammar, punctuation and spelling
    -Must be self-directed and able to prioritize responsibilities, information and schedules
    -Must be able to disseminate, manage and share business information for optimal efficiency and profitability
    -Must be able to work in a team atmosphere and open to constructive criticism
    -Manage stressful situations and deadline pressures well

    Responsibilities:

    -Ensuring monthly and annual sales forecasts are met by:
    -Provision of exemplary customer service, via phone, email and face to face contact
    -Provision of technical advice to dealers, existing customers and potential customers
    -Drives the sales of the product line to all accounts by building and maintaining effective relationships with existing and potential customers
    -Manage the accounts to meet NFO sales and business plan
    -Understand and promote the stocking dealer programs and pricing market plan
    -Communicate with other NFO departments to ensure on time and complete order deliveries – to include Production, Materials and Accounting &Finance
    -Assist Accounting and Finance departments respective to collections with accounts, as requested
    -Attendance at trade shows and other industry events to provide maximum exposure of products and opportunities to build relationships
    -Assist with the development of growth strategies including product development, pricing strategies and new concepts for marketing and promotion
    -Ensure cyclic contact with existing and potential customers is undertaken per organizational guidelines
    -Ensure point of sale promotional material is demonstrated and managed as per organization standards
    -Work closely with the Sales Manager in developing sales targets and report periodically on performance, providing recommendations for improved opportunities where appropriate
    -Ability to gather intelligence to ensure minimizing competitive risk to organization
    -Follow dress code while representing NFO at trade and consumer shows

    Product Knowledge:
    -Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to ensure accurate and consistent advice on product ranges
    -Educate customers and consumers and provide expert technical advice on the product line and the respective features and benefits
    -Participate in product development workshops as required

    -Contribute to the provision of a safe work environment.
    -Taking care to protect personal health and safety at work.
    -Ensure not to adversely affect the health and safety of others.
    -Identify and rectify, where possible any hazards in the workplace.

    -Report any incidents or near misses which may occur.

    -Actively support and utilize the company's quality system.
    -Continually review work practices and recommend ways that will provide continuous improvement to the organization.
    -Continually improve internal and external customer relations by conducting all manners of work in a professional manner at all times.
    -Represent the best interests of the company through presentation, personal relations and quality of service in all dealings while maintaining a high degree of ethics
    -Contribute to the productive functioning of the company through initiative, team cooperation and quality service.

    working in the Gun Industry is a good way NOT to make money. I myself work from something far away from guns, and I own way more gun stuff then guys who work in the industry and get hook ups! hahaha
