Rifle Scopes Nightforce...No spotter..why not?

Why in the hell doesn't Nightforce make a spotter?

I mean a 65mm objective, 15-40X, about 12-14" long, about 36 oz. in weight and have the choice of the MLR ret. or NP-R1 scale in a lower "corner".

seems like a no brainier...

I bet I could even be talked into field testing a few prototypes.

I agree .. Leupold makes a nice spotting scope with the TMR (very similar to the MLR reticle)I believe it is the Mark 4 Tactical version for about $1500

Yeah the current build time is 6 months. Stuff I ordered in august is just now showing up.

Cocadori, that would be nice. I have the luepy with the tmr and it has been a good spotter. If your using it for ranging or shot calling spend the money on a good tripod.

I guess I'm not picky on the NF scopes I have the standard MLR, ZS, HS in 15 and 22X. Will be picking up another 15X in a month or so.

You'd think that this would be on their radar. For the money these optics are hard to beat or parallel.

good things are coming, but R&D and getting lead times down to an acceptable level is more important. expect big things for nightforce, just don't expect them to rush, they go slow and do it right

I would. If you go the Mk4 rout you'll always be able to sell it and use those funds for the NF whenever/ if-ever it hits the market.

A Nightforce spotter would be awesome. I'm in for one if they ever build them.

Yes I ordered the MOA reticle with it...some folks have commented on how 30x is not ideal but will check it out and report back...

Sounds like my best option.

Just talked to Rodger on Monday. It's all screwed together, been bedded and the stock was sent out for painting!
