Rifle Scopes Nightforce NXS glass versus ATACR glass

Concerning the optical quality/comparisons between the NXS and ATACR is there a noticeable difference that really warrants buying the ATACR over the NXS? I have not got a chance to look through an ATACR yet. Give me some honest unbiased opinions.

Looked through the ATACR at Shot Show. In a word; Yes. The glass is noticably better in the Beast and Atacr than in the NXS series.

I agree, the glass in the ACATR I bought yesterday is noticeably clearer then my NXS 5.5-22.
The eye relief is more forgiving also.

Agreed! I have both. ACATR is much better.

There is a definite difference between the ED glass in the ATACR and the non ED of the NXS series in my opinion. Haven't had a customer yet say otherwise.

Yes a very definite improvement. Not that a NXS is bad but after havin Hensoldts premiers and s&b the atacr is very nice !

Yes ATACR I got mine on Thursday mounted Friday and shot it today the glass is beautiful excellent eye relief you will not be disappointed.

I have both, 3 NF NSX's and an ATACR and the ATACR has better glass. The author, Broz of the write up that Skyking posted was my deciding factor in buying the ATACR instead of another NSX.
