Rifle Scopes Nightforce NXS magnification ring

For reference, it is the 5.5-22X50 model. Why is the 10X marked with double hash marks instead of just one?

I know in some scopes, the reticle is calibrated to a certain magnification and not necessarily the max mag. I don’t know if that’s the case for the NF.

10x isnt marked with a double hash.

its a hash for 10x and a hash and dot for '11x' around what is probably closer to 10.5-10.75 than a true 11
