Rifle Scopes Nightforce NXS question

I can't adjust the magnification setting on my 3.5x15 without the entire end rotating along with it. Is this normal?

Yep that is normal - that is 1 complaint people have with NightForce.

Personally I like that you can grab the entire ocular and turn it, works great with gloves.

Indeed, it's probably one of those things you don't appreciate until you've got a Heritage or IOR where it takes an act of congress to get the magnification changed.

those are the upsides the down side is you cant use the entire range of motion with a butler creek cover on. other than that great scope...
