It will be increasing for the high speed turrets by 3%. Any scope with a zero-stop will have the high speed feature. We have some in the 3.5-15's that don't have the new high speed feature and we also have a 5.5-25 MIL on MIL without the high speed feature.

Thanks,

Mike @ CST

Thanks Mike.

Does that mean there hasn't been an increase in the non zero stop models?

Re: Nightforce price increase

The new high speed adjustments give you twice the amount of MOA/MIL that you previously had. In MIL, this will allow most rounds to get out to 1k in one revolution.

Here's a video of them we took at SHOT SHOW:

Re: Nightforce price increase

OK, so the new high speed adjustments give you twice the amount of MOA/MIL adjustment per revolution that you previously had. I assume the turrets are the same size and this is being done with the clicks being twice as close? Are there any disadvantages to this other than maybe ending up off a click? Can you get just the ele and not the windage upgrade? How much is the upgrade? Thanks Mike!

Re: Nightforce price increase

Damn, my next move is a nightforce after me AR that I have in the plans for some unknown reason. I already started a savings stash far away from where my wife ever roams. Will the current standard models still be available? From what I have heard and read a current nightforce would be far from to much scope for me for years to come! I am pulling for for one around the 1200 to 1500 range.

The turrets are the same size and twice as close. There shouldn't be too many disadvantages. Anything is possible, but from what I've seen you should be fine. If I remember correctly, they are spaced further out compared to a Premier or S & B. IMO they're about the same spacing as a USO.

As far as the upgrade, if you get the elevation, you get the windage.

As far as the pricing, our website has been officially updated for the High Speed turret options (just look under the "Elevation Turret" drop down menu for pricing).

Note: Nightforce is not applying a price increase to the FFP model.

NXS 5.5-22x50/56

NXS 3.5-15x50/56

NXS 3.5-15x50 FFP

Thanks,

Mike @ CST

The standard models should still be available but, all ZeroStop turrets will be High Speed turrets.

I don't have anything that will get to 1K in 20 MOA.

Re: Nightforce price increase

I have an NXS with zerostop and 20 MOA per revolution turrets. Adjustments for varies distances are quick and easy.

I only wish that windage knob had a better indicator for center. Now they just need to come out with a pseudo-zerostop for windage knob so that when you hit center there is a different feel.

You're right. Accidentally threw MOA in there. I meant to have it read MIL will allow most rounds to get out to 1K in a single turn. It's edited now above. For MOA it will take an average of 40 MOA to get most rounds out to a thousand yards.

Thanks,

I know they have discussed it, but that's about it. Nothing in the works presently that I know of. A lot of people were talking about it leading up to SHOT Show 2010, but when we talked to them (NF) about it they shrugged their shoulders and said they didn't know where people were getting their info from. I wouldn't be expecting it any time soon.

As to the reason why, I couldn't comment. I think it will happen eventually, but who knows when.

Thanks,

Mike @ CST
