Fixing to purchase a NF 5.5-22x56mm for my rem 700 in AICS. I spoke to Ken at NF and he said all stock Rem 700 can go with low rings. Question is, will the low rings work with the AICS cheekrest? Or will i need to go with Med-ring?

I'm 6 feet tall. With the AICS 1.5 and 2.0, anything lower than 1 inch is a little low for me. The Badger DMR 30 mm rings are a perfect fit for me, I'm not sure how tall those are at the moment, but my guess would be a medium high in Nightforce.

Im 5'8" and I have medium rings on my NXS.
I have my AICS cheekrest all the way down and it works well for me.
I could probably get away with low but I wouldnt want to bet money on it.
Im more than happy with the medium rings.
- More barrel clearance
- Bikini fits on no worries
- Provisions for wider barrel in future without concern
- Cheek rest is all the way down still

I had to put Seekins mediums for my NF 5.5x22-56. It probably would have cleared the barrel with lows (just barely), but it would have been too low for a good cheek weld. I am 5-11 and normal proportioned guy. Go with the mediums.
