Are the shv exposed turrets the same size of the older shv capped turrets?

Elevation dial is about the same height, but the exposed one is bigger around.

I’m familiar with Nxs and atacr turrets,is the exposed shv turret close to one of them?size,clicks,sound?

The SHV F1 turrets are substantially smaller and a bit less tactile than the ATACR’s. That said, the SHV is great for what it is. I own two. I also own several ATACRs.

I figured it would be smaller just didn't know how much it's always a issue buying things online you have nothing to touch,look at and evaluate.
looking at shv 5x20 exposed turrets or Ares both about the same price.

I’ll try to remember to post a couple pictures tonight. I can put the ATACR and SHV side by side. I doubt you’ll be disappointed with the quality of the SHV for the price though. It’s my go-to scope for hunting rifles due to the combination of glass, weight, features and durability.

that is a good difference in size. thanks for the pic.
I've narrowed two option down to ares etr or shv exposed turret for my vudoo .
the ares I can get a way better deal but not sure yet which way to go.

I have never used an Ares. I am a big fan of the SHV on hunting platforms.

Ok shv [capped]turret is .932 shv exposed turret 1.220, Nxs 8x32 zerostop is 1.350
The Nxs turret is the best very loud clicks and firm
Exsposed turret not loud at all but firm
Capped turret not loud ,firm just on the small size.
Just received Shv exsposed turret scope have not mounted yet so have no info on how the turrets work in the field.
