Rifle Scopes Nikon M 223 ???

Does anybody have any experience with this scope??? I looked at the spec. 19 oz 1/4 clicks 40 moa travel. I'm looking for a scope for my daughters .243. I know the turret is marked for .223 but once I get a load for her we will get a moa turret tape made. Reason I'm interested in this scope is its supposed to have a huge eye box. Which would be good for her. Plus you can get refurbished ones for less 300$. So just wondering if anybody put one threw its paces?

The eye relief on the M-223 is around 3.75-4 inches. I use the BDC reticle and taught my son at an early age how it works combined with Nikon's Spot ON Ballistic Program.Didn't take more then 2 trips to the range and a cull deer hunt for him to be dropping deer at 400 yards. These are Tx. deer, not big bodied Northern deer. He like the 3-12 magnification setting too. I was going to swap it out for a MONARCH 2-5-10 but he's happy and I don't have to get another scope. By the way, I do some freelance PR work for Nikon. If I didn't have experience with what you are asking about I wouldn't chime in.

I think this will be her first big scope. Once we get her a load 90 billistic tip at 25-2700 with trail boss we'll have a very fun summer.

I have had one mounted on a Ruger 10/22 for a couple years with no complaints. It has been a decent scope for what I needed.
