Rifle Scopes Nikon Monarch ok with 20 moa cant bases?

I have a 20 moa canted 1-pc base on my rifle and I'm going to get new rings (first weren't high enough) today at Cabelas.

The base on it is 20 moa dual dovetail. Will a Nikon Monarch 3-12x42sf be compatible with that much cant or should I just get a Leupold Standard 0-moa base and rings?

Max Internal Adjustment 60 MOA
Should be OK

yeah but that's 30 up 30 down so I'm only going to have 10 moa adjustment left (i think).

Hope the thing doesn't go all goofy like some scopes do when you get close to their max adjustment settings.

No No
20-MOA will cause it to shoot high,
so you will turn it down to zero,
giving you about 50- MOA up for that long shot!

Right, so I have 10 moa or less travel down but 50 moa up.

Some scopes go goofy when they approach max adjustment.

Not a problem. I have two mounted on 20 MOA bases. Go for it.
