Nitride Savage action

Hello.

Has anyone here sent their barreled savage to MMI Trutec to be nitride treated?

I spoke with Rodney and he said he does Remington barreled actions all the time, but he was concerned about doing a Savage (without taking it apart) because a guy had a Howa receiver crack on him (dude was trying to retap his action after the treatment)
