I enjoy watching them also. I have a very nice 30+" buck that I am holding out for. Just havnt gotten a shot yet. I have 3 more that are almost identical to this one pictured. One has a drop tine. If I dont find the big boy I am going to take the drop tine buck. I think he about 25-26" wide and very tall. the deer picture and the others I am talking about are all 5+ years old and have had plenty of time to get the geans out.
Good Luck, with the 30" buck they have a way of making you look foolish at times. However, when the testosterone flows they simply become posessed and make mistakes (Don't We All). Looking forward to his mug shot.
whatched this deer for a while this morning. I took the pic with my digital camera pressed up againstmy spotting scope. This deer has stayed a big forked horn for the last 2 years. before that he had a huge spike on one side.
