Friend of mine has a few API rounds but he's to stingy to lemme try a couple. Keeps saying something bout $. Never shot one in any caliber. I know they're out there but just haven't taken the plunge yet to pick some up. Difficult to tell Momma right now with a straight face that "I gotta have'm".

hard to find but I keep enough supply to stop most any vehicle that a up armored black kevlar clad zombie might be driving, its the only reason I own a 50 cal. Step one, stop them, step 2 burn and shoot them, get a few hundred and keep them on hand, no need to zero them you will need t use them in close, just load for max velocity test one round and keep the rest for zombie day.

Shooting API, or anything with an 'I' around here is just plain dumb, we live in an active wildfire area. One of the last few big ones we had ended up being traced to an Off-Duty LEO plinking with API out and around in the desert brush just South of Tucson. You can see the smoke from them things 60-80 miles away around here.

Not being anti-LEO, just anti-stupid; it could have been anybody, it just turned out to be him.
