Live in ny so AR and AK style guns are off the board. What is the best platform to build off of for a similar purpose rifle meaning , short to mid range semi-auto.

Haven’t seen the fight lite before. Basic design I am looking for. What about a bar or m1? Not up to date on all the options out there.
Best you can do is leave NY for somewhere friendly. Prop up a place that is gun friendly with your vote and your tax dollars, and take your paycheck away from the socialists.
FNAR or the M1A. The FN is a pretty good shooter out of the box. The M1A can be made into a great shooter. Optics will be easier to add to the FN.
