Hey All,
Wasn't sure where to post this so I'm sticking it in the Bear Pit. Anyways, I'm extremely new to marksmanship. I'm only 17 years old so don't own a rifle of my own but I go shooting with a friend, who's a Sniper in Afghanistan at the moment. So, I'm trying to learn about Bullet Drop, Windage, etc. I'd like to join the Nat'l Guard Reserves to try and get into Sniper School and decided I'd give myself a leg up on the rest. So I was wondering, what is a good rifle to learn about windage with, and bullet drop, leading targets, etc. What caliber? I was thinking .338 I've looked at the forums, but they use terms that I am completely foreign to.
-Thanks Much
