Any body had dealings and using a Noreen .50 BMG Long Range Rifle? Seems like a good price, its pegged at $1999.00 with so much extras included.Looks good to me.Its American made out of Montano,USA.
Go to their website. They offer a .338, 408 Chey Tec, .416 Barrent and the .50 BMG. Also ammo,Ive talked to them and they stated that all new parts were used. I know the .408 Chey Tac and the .416 Barret will out shoot the .50 BMG at long range, but buying ammo and home brewing it is a whole lot easily with the .50 BMG rounds.
I saw these at the local gunshow. Personally wasn't sold on the locking lugs in the action, but that was only after a quick look. They did say they can use Lilja barrel for an additional fee, but I don't remember what the standard barrel was for the .50. Also the bolt is a shell holder design. It is what it is, a cheap way to get into ELR.
Okay, they say the .50 BMG rifle will shoot small groups at a thousand,I would think this means the barrel they used is on par. I have been looking at Serbu rifles and the East Ridge Gun Company. I'm looking at entry level. I beleive the East Ridge Gun Company uses the Lothar Walther 30 inche barrel, which I think is one step ahead.
