Norma 6.5 mm 130 VLD bullets

I have shot a lot of 6.5 bullets of different brand and weight in a 260, haven't found one that didn't great, 1/2 MOA or a little better which is the best I can do, lapua 's are no exception.
Cheers.

I tried 130gr Norma Goldens a few years back, when I was still a novice reloader/not much more advanced shooter. I found they were more difficult to tune than Berger 130s (perhaps I dumb lucked into a good load with the Bergers) and ended up moving them down the road.

I kinda wish I had hung unto at least 100 of them to try today.

I did notice the Normas shot best from my barrel in the 2880-2930fps range...but YMMV.

mb,

They've worked fine for the past five years, I prefer the older style to the newer one, but both provide sub 1/4 MOA groups. I use and apply my own moly, but like anything else, your rifle will tell you what it likes. Like most bullets, meplat trimming shrinks groups; pointing may or may not increase BC.

HTH,
