First time shooting factory ammo thru the Savage BA 110.

338 Lapua Magnum with 30 inch Bartlein, Harvester Big Bore Suppressor
250 SMK - 2950 fps
300 SMK - 2800 fps

I'm impressed with the velocity and accuracy of this factory ammo. I always have used hand loaded ammo in Lapua Brass.

I'm assuming that Norma uses Norma 217 Powder in their factory loads. I will contact Norma and ask.

Thanks,

I ordered another 13 boxes (20/box) at Bullets.com
They are selling them at $59/box.

I also had earlier bought a can of 200 rounds of Lapua Lock Base 250 grains from them. In the video you see the scattered black spot hits on the stop sign... Those hits were from the Lapua 250 Lockbase ammo. Not nearly as accurate as the SMK rounds

I'm thinking I will pull 100 of the 200 case Lapua Lockbase 250's. Use the virgin brass with the Hornady 285 ELD's loaded with 98 grains of N570 powder.
Then load the 250 lockbase bullets in my 6th fired Lapua brass from last years shooting.
