Is a 308 Norma Maga the same as a 300 Norma Mag?

no they are different. The 308 Norma is a belted case very similar to a 300 Win Mag but with a longer neck. The 300 Norma is based on a Lapua diameter case.

The 300 Norma is the 338 Norma necked down. The 308 Norma is a little bit shorter than the 300Win Mag.
