Not happy with the additional intrusive advertising

I know that advertising pays for the site, and there is an ass load of advertising on the site. I actually like the ads on the top and sides, as I get to see new things and find new vendors.

So a couple of days ago, we were notified that we had 100,000 registered members. Our reward was to have an ad placed right in the middle of the text in the post.

It seems a bit intrusive. As I said, I know that advertising pays for the site.

Gonna really try and say this nicely as my first reaction is just ban you, or at least say a lot of really rude things.

First off, that as has always been there. That is one. The difference is we had a small issue so to fix it we turned them all on. The only difference it only showed to people not logged in.

Ads are how this site generates revenue and has far less than most sites of this size.

Next you can move the sidebar out of the way but since you voiced your displeasure I am not gonna explain how.

If you don't like it, leave, it's one ad on only the first post, if you're too offended go. Or ask me to delete your account That I would be more than happy to do if I don't do it on my own.

This was a maintenance and function issue we were working on, but you don't care, clearly. Not to mention I already addressed it.

It's kinda funny, 3-4 weeks ago Frank, you were soliciting help in lieu of funds for the TR.net lawsuit. "It's an attack on all of us".
I could give two shits about an add in the first post, other than I spent some time for 2 days trying to figure why they were appearing, was it my last porn site visit?

I also remember last year about this time the "price puffers" debacle. Now today the add in the first post has a 50% chance of being a Cheaper Than Dirt add, a company 99.9% of Hide members loathe.

Yup, it's an attack on all of us!
