"Some have asked "What does it do to balance." On most 18" or longer rifles, it makes it feel like you have a light 16" barrel or a 14" barrel. It moves the CG of the rifle back to in between your hands instead of just behind of or on your forward support hand. This allows you to drive the rifle faster and stop quicker due to the reduced mass out front (momentum thing, and yes, we did the math). This rearward movement of the CG also reduces fatigue when shooting off-hand and aids in stability when reloading as well !!!!"

Re: www.carbonarms.us Designed and Built by Shooters

ya im sure it helps alot with the weight farther back when your shooting off hand. Thats a good idea. Have you done strength testing with them?

Re: www.carbonarms.us Designed and Built by Shooters

Of course!!!

"Over the period of almost a year, we tested a variety of materials, dimensions, slotted and un-slotted, temperatures, durability and stress to come up with the "Feather" line of FFTs."

Re: www.carbonarms.us Designed and Built by Shooters

FYI

Mark and Co. bring forth some great firearms experience and incredible technological skills to the party. These products should rock.

I am awaiting my forearm as we speak and will post as soon as I have it mounted up.

Can't wait for all the other goodies as well.

The shotgun product is still in prototype testing, but on track to be introduced March 15.

Re: www.carbonarms.us Designed and Built by Shooters

I consider myself very good at weakhand shotgun loading. I used a prototype vest for two days and was very impressed with the results. Here is a video of my 4th ever try at loading a shotgun with the Carbon Arms Twins Vest. Needless to say my 4th ever attempt at weakhand loading wasn't even close to that fast.
