Nothing tactical about it, but pretty cool

Looks like a manually operated BAR, mostly for the Euro market where getting a semi auto is very difficult or impossible in some (but not all) countries.

It could be a big seller in PA and whatever other state doesn't allow semi autos for deer hunting.

Unlike other straight pull rifles, a return spring sends the bolt back into battery.

It IS a manually actuated Browning BAR. They build these specifically for the European market to compete with Blazers, but will not import them into the United States. I inquired a few years back about these because I was interested in the design. I personally like the idea if it would be cost competitive with a normal Browning Safari II model. The fit and finish on these are at a high end of the Browning line.

What in the actual fuck? If I was Browning's product manager I'd get that motherfucker in here ASAP. Importation through ATF will be a non-issue as there is no doubt it is a sporting rifle. After that, it's just money in the bank. Getting inventory in from Belgium/Portugal should only be 2 weeks by sea once all the ATF stuff is taken care of.

Why would they be so stupid as to leave money on the table?
