I called Novekse and they said the 5.56 gas blocks would NOT work due to the gas tube length. I read on another forum where a guy used one with and without suppressor and said it worked fine.

Has anyone on this site had any experience with this combo?

If not does anyone know of an adjustable gas block that uses a similar system to adjust other then a allen wrench?

Thanks in advance

Re: Novekse Switchblock and .308 Build

Noveske is working on a .308 specific switchblock, but who knows if it will ever become a reality. Last I heard, they had some "issues" getting it to run across a range of different .308/7.62 ammo and because of that, the project had taken a back seat to other projects at Noveske. I would NOT suggest using a 5.56/223 model on a .308 for various reasons including but not limited to the gas tube length differences, different gas port diameters, etc., etc., etc.!

Paladin Machine makes an adjustable gas block for the .308 ARs. Just give them a call and tell them what you are looking for and they'll build you what you need:
