NRAtv ends production, Chris Cox is out.

Looks like political corruption can be found in the NRA as well. NRA is not what we need, theres enough suits with pens in Washington already lying to the sheep and taking their money.

WE need an organization with members that abide by the constitution and law so when a congressman or senator speaks of gun control and gun confiscation which clearly is against the constitution. That millions show up carrying their arms to show that they can't take our rights away, just like the people in Hong Kong when they didn't agree with a law the leaders were going to pass.

They are starting to remind me of the Ottoman Empire of the 17th to 19th centuries. Still a very formidable player in politics with a very large sphere of dominance and population density. However, if you look at it closely, you will see that one by one, the institutions which made them great in the past are failing. Their internal politics are filled with distrust, rivalry and outright animosity. Sure, their foes may still fear them and hesitate to move against them, but their allies and constituents are well aware that this projected power is merely a phantom of it's former self...

Conjuring up the evil and then inserting themselves into the middle with their hands out asking for donations to to fight the evil?

Over the past 3 months, I am aware that multiple people in anti-2A states have faced prosecution and jail time for unregistered heirloom handguns and other things which are blatant attacks against the 2nd Amendment rights of these law abiding citizens who had no criminal records until their interaction with the corrupt DA's and prosecutors in their regions.

And to my knowledge, the NRA have not fought on their behalf or aided them in challenging their states' constitutional violations. So what are they doing with all of the membership dues of their 4+ million members?

  • Born in 1949, in New York, Wayne LaPierre’s current net worth is estimated at $10.0 million. He reportedly receives a salary averaging $972,000.
  • In 2010, the NRA paid LaPierre more than $900,000 as salary. It was estimated that he received a hefty compensation of $985,885 in 2014 from the NRA’s total contributions, which was estimated at a whopping $103.0 million.
  • As part of similar contributions, LaPierre went home $3.7 million richer in 2015, after receiving his “employee funded deferred compensation plan” cut.
  • It was also estimated that between 2014 and 2015, LaPierre received a staggering $4.0 million in compensation after the NRA reported high earnings.
  • LaPierre’s annual compensation for 2015 was calculated to be $5,110,985 after funds were added to the figures.

Wayne is a piece of shit on par with the Clinton's.
But it was a lot more than just him. Between 2015-2017 the NRA raised a billion dollars.
In 2018 I believe the operated 130 million in the red.
And now they are dropping programs vs dropping people. Wayne should be out on his ass.
I doubt they will ever see another dime from me.

I never saw anything worth watching on NRAtv. Clips of fudds on safari just doesn’t do much for me.

I would rather see new leadership than watch the whole org go under, but LaPierre seems willing to burn it down rather than give it up.

I can live with that, but the shame is that the left will claim victory and say they took it down.

Here’s the email they sent out:
Dear NRA Instructor,
As many of you may know, we have been evaluating if our investment in NRATV is generating the benefits needed. This consideration included the return on investment and the cost and the direction of the content. Many members expressed concern about the messaging on NRATV becoming too far removed from our core mission: defending the Second Amendment.
So, after careful consideration, I am announcing that starting today, we are undergoing a significant change in our communications strategy. We are no longer airing “live TV” programming. Whether and when we return to “live” programming is a subject of ongoing analysis.
The NRA will continue and improve our service on social media channels and our flagship website, www.nra.org – your trusted resource of information. Our many web sites will continue to showcase new and archived videos, as we reorganize much of this information in a way that better serves our key audiences.
What necessitated the change now is our conclusion that our longtime advertising firm and website vendor failed to deliver upon many contractual obligations it made to our Association. The NRA will always hold our vendors to high standards and ask that they maximize their value to the Association. No exceptions.
Looking ahead, you can expect great things from your NRA. We will energize our messaging strategy, become more cost efficient, and promote the NRA’s singular focus like never before. Simply put, our messaging strategy will advance the NRA’s core mission: to serve our members and fight for our Second Amendment.
– Wayne

The DEMS and Liberals absolutely hate the NRA and all of us so I will continue to support them. They aren't the best option but the loudest at this time and under new leadership could be brought back to a reputable organization. The DEMS want to collapse the NRA which makes me think they are still worth some support? JMHO

I support a few others also.

I'd be more interested to find out who he votes for on the state and national levels. Same for the board and others in the organization. That might be more telling where the NRA direction is going.
