I though I would start a new thread so everyone that wants to comment on the match or post photos can do so.

GREAT match so far. We shot a total of ten stages today. Saw a lot of good shooting today. CKA has pulled off a good match so far. Stay tune.

damn good match and good people. The range is great and Chad is the best RO that has ever walked the face of the earth!!!!!! hopefully I'll take some pics tomorrow....

Here is the video from the 1 mile tower today. Out of 57 shooters, we had 25 first round hits! We had 16 shooter that made a second round hit! That is 72% of the shooters that made a hit from 1780 yards- 20 yards further than a mile!

We were shooting a 300 RUM with Hornady's new 225 grain BTHP at 3150 fps. Ammo was loaded by Custom Reloads of Dallas, and the rifle was by Thoroghbred Rifles (Thoroghbred Action, Bartlein Barrel, McMillan stock, Tubb brake, Vortex Razon HD scope). Target is a 36" square plate (2 MOA target).

I didn't get everyone. A few of the videos were off target, and some I forgot to start recording.

Jay put on an excellent match, I think we all had a blast. The facility is wonderful, and the stages were very well thought out to help prevent bottle-necking and downtime. I particularly liked the scoring...for the most part, a hit was a hit and counted as a point. Very simple, very effective, and it prevents people people from gaming.

My favorite stage, by far, was anything that ChadTRG RO'd. We did a 600, 700, 800, 900, and 1000 yard stage, with three rounds on each target. Chad's commentary and calls were not only spot on, but made the stage significantly more entertaining. Too bad I only nailed 20 of the 30. A very close second was the barricade at 5 different positions...that one was a challenge.

Congrats to Bryan for the win. Congrats to everyone else for shooting well, safely, and for having fun.

Thanks for letting me be a part of it...even if I was shooting a 308 with 175's....

Great match NTRP! The organization was very well and it ran really smooth for the first match. Thanks to Jay and all the ROs that put so much work into making this a success. A special thanks to the landowner for letting all of us shoot on his place which is very nice. Most of all thanks to Molly for all of her work and sacrifice to make this happen. To all the sponsors who supported this event, thank you very much especially Vortex who sponsored the match and put a lot of gear on the prize table.
