Re: NTRP Field Load Data Book

I know these were in development for a long time, the time and effort put in by NoMad and CKA shows, we all know the Impact Data Book is first rate, combined with NTRP Load Development pages makes these books a must have.

Re: NTRP Field Load Data Book

Bump for CKA. Even though Molly did all the work!!! I got one of the first of these books. Took it with me to the range when CKA and I did my original load development on my .308. The book is built sturdy so you can get it down in the dirt with you. It is full of useful info and easy to understand. It allows you to document anything you might encounter at the range or hunting. With all this info stored in one book, You have no excuse for missing your target again. By the way the $35 is priced right too. Can't go wrong with this book.

Re: NTRP Field Load Data Book

just let me know here or via PM and I'll send the payment instructions. PM's sent to Jason and Victor already - PM to ALMAORFE. Thanks!

Re: NTRP Field Load Data Book

Ha HA Thats mighty nice of you Victor. Thats almost like letting someone else shoot your new target rifle before you get to.

Good to see ya on here - We met at ORSA this fall.

Re: NTRP Field Load Data Book

What can I say. He has it first and some of them aren't wrapped or in an envelope.

ORSA is one of my favorite places to be. I hope you had a good time there.

Re: NTRP Field Load Data Book

Captain,

Package received. I wanted to ask what process the pages were printed on? To make sure they are at least a little water resistant. Not that I'm going to shoot in a pouring rain. My health isn't up to that. But I have been caught in showers while prone.

By the way. Sharp looking book.

Hey Victor, was gone all week - sorry. It is not water proof unfortunately. The write in the rain option would have been noticeably more expensive. These are selling well. I may make a bigger purchase order on the next lot and I will see if that can get the right in the rain pages a little cheaper. Thank You!

Re: NTRP Field Load Data Book

I understood when I noticed the date. I was wondering where everyone went. When it dawned on me it was kind of like the old V8 juice commercials. ...Duh

It's a good weight paper stock. Unless you're sitting in the pouring rain with the book exposed completely to the weather, I'm sure it will work fine. At least for my purposes. (The only way I’ll be in those circumstances, is if I’m caught off guard by the weather.)

I have used, in the past a mechanical pencil with a .7mm 4B or 6B lead as a respectable writing utensil in damp places. The softer leads may be able to write better on the wet surface.

Re: NTRP Field Load Data Book

Glad the books are selling well for you CKA!!

We are ready to get your reorder ready to go for you when you are ready!!

Shot show was real good for Impact Data Books and you will be seeing many more custom books made by us just like the NTRP that CKA is using in his shooting and reloading courses.

Re: NTRP Field Load Data Book

guys I had to amend the post. It actually costs us 4.90 to send the books so I bumped it to $5 shipping instead of $2.50. Sorry.

I'll PM you the details shortly, s4b1106. Thanks!

No,...Thank you...Given your imagination and razor wit, I regret offerring to make up the difference by "working it off in trade". Shouldn't post before the second cup of coffee

Did you get my payment?

Re: NTRP Field Load Data Book

CKA,

I got mine yesterday. When I opened it and proceeded to leaf throught the pages it was a V-8 moment! (actually several head slaps)I realized it was worth it for the reference pages alone in addition to the wealth of conversion tables, wind observation, lead techniques, incline calculations, ballistics charts, come up sheets, holy shiite... It's all right there!

Well worth the money as well as time saved digging up various reference books and magazines and still not finding all the information contained here. And I can get more once I know what I lack!

I plan on spending serious time, and at least a couple cigars, reading and re-reading so my questions are focused and don't waste the time of a busy dickweed like CKA!

Thanks again Jay

Re: NTRP Field Load Data Book

Victor the pages will hold up to a light rain. I actually soaked them in a puddle then wrote on them but you have to push lightly or you will break through it is 80 weight paper.

queequeg- I am happy that you like the reference pages. We spent alot of time getting the reference pages done right. A data book is only as good as its reference material and its the foundation on which every data book is built on.

When CKA came to us for his books he did a great service to his customers by laying his book not only to follow his reloading school but to also follow his shooting course as well. So you guys get a 2 for 1 special. Kinda like the shocker!!! CKA designed his reloading page to work with his load development which was cool.

Glad to see that these books are doing well for you CKA keep selling them we are ready to get the next round ready for you.

Re: NTRP Field Load Data Book

Tony,

As you may recall, when you first started posting about these, I liked them but was a little unsure where to begin putting together the component pages most applicable to a recreational shooter such as myself. Like so many other things I have on the back burner, I'd look again and think a little further but didn't make any decision.

When I saw this offering, I saw the nucleus of what I could use altogether, without the annoying "tire kicker" questions for busy people with more important prospective clients than myself.

It's a great tool and I plan on getting very familiar with it before bothering you guys with questions.

I hope you are doing well with this as well as your scribbling career!

Re: NTRP Field Load Data Book

Queequeg glad you got what you need brother. You and anyone else can always pm, call or email andy questions that you may have.

We treat every customer equal and everyone is just as important to us.

As a shooter I have learned from many other people asking questions and still as a shooter I am learning and helping others with questions so drop a line if you need anything.

It went out today! Thanks, man.

Re: NTRP Field Load Data Book

It's here....I have to admit, it's nicer than I anticipated.

Very well done, knowing both CKA and NOMAD, I'm surprised how nice it is

I still need to flip through it some more to see all the pages, but so far it's easily worth the $40 and I'm sure I'll get a couple more.
