I'm building my first precision rifle and have a manners on the way for the nucleus action. The problem is the stock will take awhile to get here since I took my time deciding on a stock choice. If I was to buy a basic synthetic Remington stock or Bergara HMR B-14 stock, would the nucleus action bolt right into the stock without the need of a gunsmith?

    Said Remington stock- https://www.ebay.com/itm/Choate-25-...473863&hash=item3f9cf8b789:g:Ci0AAOSwf5Ba~BW7

It should though you would likely want to bed it and don’t know the magazine system/detachable bottom metal on that one. I would recommend just getting the krg bravo for very close to the same price (no dbm needed most likely better machined interface that would likely not need bedding).

It is cut for AI mags, so nothing with AW.

So, any AI mag chassis is best. Look for a used one in the classified on the hide. That is what I did until my stock is made.

Some stocks may need to be tweaked for ejection port etc. I ordered a McMillan, and I will take my Nucleus to them for fitting. They haven't seen one yet, so they want to spec it and see if they need to do anything.

The bolt stop isn't an issue for the inlet. Its mainly the trigger, ejection port and mag cut. Also, you might need to watch the inlet if you are running a Barloc with it.

Because PVA is running a KRG on the John Hancock, I gotta believe that may be a good option.

I didn't want to start a new thread for a quick question.
But would any Nucleus owners mind checking a couple of quick dimensions for me per the attached crude sketch?
I am one of the poor saps that got in on the pre-order toward the end and likely won't have my action until December.
I have a stock (in-hand)inletted for a different action and I'm wondering how far off the ejection port will be as it relates to the bolt handle recess.

    Thanks!
