From what I have read, the top rail is reversible. So depending on how long your scope is, it may or may not affect the IMUNS. Im in the process of having a rifle built now. The IMUNS is the first on my list followed by a Atlas Bipod, Monopod and the list goes on lol..
Badgers is out of office till 1pm today so ill try later..just didnt wanna get one and it be too close to my scope with sunshade...or too far away without you know..
ok..they are $325 from Badger, and you dont use a sunshade. has to be as close as possible to scope. You were correct, the mount can actually be flipped to have shorter/futher distance from youe optic. But $325?!? have to find a used one..
Im in the process of having a rifle built from a company that is not allowed to be posted on this forum. Dont ask me why, but my post were deleted when I mentioned the company name.
But when it is all over with, I will have a NF scope, IMUNS, Atlas Bipod, and a few other toys on my toy.
Oh, sorry. Yes, AICS 1.5 stock in OD Green. I was looking at the 2.0 version. The issues I had with that one was there was a little play in the hinge, and I couldnt see spending an extra $350 for a hinge on a stock.. I can only see problems later on down the road with that hinge getting worse.
Well im a big collector..and just got into long range and bolt guns. I have a rem 700 .308 20" tactical bought cheap. so thats what made me want to play with it. just sent the bolt out for know work, ordering a OD green 2.0..with NF 5.5-22x56. after that gonna send barreled action for od cerakote so itll be od / black
My barrel is 22" with a muzzle break.. From what I have read, that is the optimal length for a .308.. Where are you getting your NF scope from? How much? Im looking for a 5.5x22x50. Im still debating whether I want to spend the extra $$ for the zero stop
I bought one used and the other from NF. Yes the zerostop is worth it in my opinion..it will take you back to your zero with out trying to keep up with it. Theres a guy here who sales them also Jay, really nice guy..ill PM you his # if youd like.
Good to see you again Edwin! Im not sure if I have asked you before, but do you have any problems with the Hinge on that stock? Im getting a rifle built with the 1.5 stock. I looked at the 2.0, but there was a little play in the hinge, and I saw that as a problem in the long run...
Actually, it does not look like a TAB sling... Ed's sling has a dual webbing near the monopod. The TAB sling Im looking at does not.. ED, help us out here
Correct, it is a TAB GEAR Elite Biathlon Sling. Yes, AI makes a biathlon sling too. All it allows you to do is to carry the weapon. It has no provision to allow the shooter to actually sling up, which this sling does.
We make the Biathlon sling in the Elite version. The Elite version of any sling simply means that is has the Cobra Buckles in place of the regular Fastex buckles.
It seems I dont pay attention to detail LOL.. While on your website, I didnt bother to look at the bottom line of your products.. All I saw was the Tab an Tab Elite sling LMAO!!

Both slings look bad ass, and very very well built!!! Im sure it is the last sling you would ever need to buy. Im still a little hesitant on that $200 price tag. But then again, when you have over $5k in a rifle, where does it end?
