So I have an aero M4E1 upper that shoots like garbage. I was window shooping on primary arms and saw a 22lr conversion kit. Didnt know they existed. So it goes without saying...I bought the kit. Heres my issue. I have a thordson stock, so my only other evil feature is my flashhider on the threaded barrel. Any suggestions on how to make this lord Cuomo approved as to not violate the rules of his majisty? Could I file the threads off and in weld a cap on it?

So am I to understand that you did not previously register this rifle in the completely unsearchable and unenforceable database that our state police has created? That's too bad.

If it's a semi-auto with a removable mag, you cannot have any "evil" features. Perma-pin the mag or weld on a thread protector. Wonderful state we live in, eh?

Lol, didnt need to register it. It has a 10 round magazine that is permanently fixed. I have mean arms speedloaders that work great, but if I convert it to a 22LR I have to have detachable mags. So I was just wondering about the muzzle threads. I dont even think anyone has been convicted under the NYS safe act. But I have a wife and kid. So I have no choice but to keep everything compliant. My wife would be helpless without me. Haha
