They elected the people that passed the laws. It's up to them to elect replacements if they are unhappy with their decision.

I escaped in '91. Realized when I was about to ETS in '97 there was no way I was going back to an area (40 miles north of Syracuse) where Albany and NYC have sucked all the resources from and regulated/taxed so heavily. They lost me and both if my brothers. Eventually my father.
NY has accomplished the socialist dream. About the only way to live upstate is to work for the state, a college, a public utility or be on government assistance. Fuck New York .
This bail/criminal justice reform nonsense was snuck into the budget without public debate. This is the second story about a criminal being released and then shockingly promptly committing a crime. The last one was a woman that committed an assault on two Jewish women, was released and promptly assaulted someone again.
