Yep, my mdts let me go really long. My 6.5 creed stuff ends up a 2.890 or so but I have plenty of room to go still. Had to notch the rem700 but in an origin it clears fine. Just get a mag without the binder plate, your nuc should handle it.

What MDT mags are you using they have 3 different types on the site ?

MDT mags will work but i dont want to modify anything on the rifle so not sure if i would have to or not ?

Its not the mag that would cause you to have to modify the rifle/action, its the action itself. Example, a Rem700 needs to have the feedramp notched to use longer COAL. Most aftermarket actions dont require that..

Just get the MDT without binder. ARC mags allow the longer coal as well

yes thanks the mdt with no binder plate should work fine

Just spoke with MDT says if i get the mag without the binder plate i might have to modify my ramp(feed) on the rifle ?
The nuc is already clearanced but this is what it took for my rem700, you can see all of the extra length possible gained.
