Read up on the reported Hezbollah financing involving importing drugs into the USA than laundering money through the purchase of used cars (future "technicals") at used car auctions.
I've worked one of those auctions and as Obi Wan Kenobi said to wit "you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy" all dealing in large amount of cash dealing in transactions with very little paper work followed immediately by cars being loaded in containers and shipped who knows where.
Seems this arrangement was part with f the work up to the awesome Iran Nuclear Deal.
