Yep, you'd think 23 and counting would suffice, but it don't. I got 2 guys senior to me. One by about 5 yrs, the other by a year. Losing 2 people screws us good. Even though the 3 of us are senior to the 2 Sgt's, we don''t bid against them, they're a shoe in for their 2 shifts. Only gonna be for a bit, supposedly. We'll see. Now where the fuck is my sense of humor........................

I once worked with a guy that told me at his last job he was told he had to work every other Saturday. So he worked the first Saturday and every other one after that... if it makes you feel any better. Oh, and he was totally ok with his OCD... And his incompetence for that matter... ??

Oh yeah, several times over the last 30 years....and I'm still on fargin night shift.
Being they aren't completely heartless bastards, they gave me day shift when my late wife passed in 2014. After I got my life back on fairly even keel....
