If I'm understanding the principles of this test I think I see a node at 40.5 and another at 42. Am I right or am I totally misunderstanding the concept? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Short answer, (I believe) is a partial yes. Longer answer - you have two nice areas to explore a little further if you want to find the center of each node. 40.2 and 40.5 have the same POI, and at a ~3% higher charge (above 41.4 and) at 41.7 the group appears to come back together again. personally I'd explore one (or both) of these areas in a little more detail trying to find the "middle". 42.0 looks outside the zone to me.

yep, I like 40.2-40.5, if you have the speed you are looking for. If you stack these two groups on top of each other you would have a nice 6 shot group.
Maybe fine tune a 40.3 load with seating depth and see if it tightens up but pretty good as is.

Did you shoot it round robin? I'd shoot 38.5, the vertical looks good on 38.7 and 39.

40.2 looks good. The group before and after have basically the same poi

41.7 looks nice but is too close to a scatter node

yes it was shot round robin. 2 min between shots. It's amazing how long 2 minutes is when your sitting there doing nothing waiting for a timer to go off LOL

Load a few in 41.5 and 41.6 and see which does a little better. Experiment with seating depths between those two to fine tune.

If it were my target I would use 40.4 and 41.5 or 41.6.

3% up from 39.0 is 40.2

3% up from 40.2 is 41.4
