Anybody ever get a threaded G19 barrel, put it on a G26, and suppress it? Would this work/function?

My experience with an Evo-9 and an old FAC G26 threaded barrel is that you will need extremely high pressure (over max) loads with 147 or 158gr projectiles. Of course they will still be subsonic because of the weight.
Standard pressure loads will actuate the G17 and G19 with LID easily, but not that little G26 in my experience.

You will need a booster to run it on a G26. Its not the greatest gun to do that with, even the G19 is a little small.

Allot of people try and fail, but the short answer is "yes."
There are two guns in the library that are very fussy, the Glock 26 and the Sig 239. Both can be done and run very very well.
Whereas the blocks are the same between the 19 and 26. The issue is fitting, one has to find the binding point and make it work. Standard Glock barrels are all ready looser. Start with the tighter match barrel and you stand a good chance.
Most I've seen are poorly done and end up being single shots. Glock 26 barrels are finicky but can be made to run perfectly. In fact, a good suppressor smith can be judged by their work on 26.
Don't quite know what to make of gathert's "little small" comment. A well fit suppressor barrel (of good quality) and a good can run on 19 and 26 perfectly.
LID? Any Neilson will work on a 19 or 26. LID is the cheapest (not in a good way) to go.
G19 is the best gun to suppressor of ALL the Glocks. Least fussy out of all of them. At 3.5oz, some Ti cans don't even need Neilson on a Glock. That would be 26, 19, 17, 17L and 34. No Neilson, No LID.
Here is .45 that operates at 100%.

If small is what you want, go with a heavily fielded unit, two decades of sales to every service and the first can to be sold in huge numbers to the forces. 3.2 ounces all welded, deep penetration welded Ti and fits in your pocket. The AWC Titanium Abraxas™ was built under contract for the U.S. Army for use on the Glock 26 & Glock 19. Wasn't designed to be the quietest, it was designed to be quiet when wet and very small.
