Night Vision offered NV in trade, suggestions ?

I'm considering taking a PVS7 "Delta" kit in trade. (I have the Serial # and date of purchase puts it around 09/10) Was considering calling manufacturer to see what they can tell me via the serial.

Offer was to receive and inspect then send my half of the trade after its inspected.
.
Suggestions from those who know A LOT more about this than I? (have some knowledge but not a ton)

Does the paper work come with it, tube sheet specifically. Do you know 100% without a doubt that it was purchased from a reputable source? My biggest worry about those is that they might turn up add gi property and confiscated.

My only thing is when buying a used tube, how many hrs are actually on it. Depending on what u buy they have a life span of about 10,000 hrs. Im just werry about buying used NV, that's me and my opinion. But if the seller is a reputable person, then go with it.

90% of users would never even come close to burning out a gen3 tube. If you used it 4hrs everyday which I gaurantee few do, it would take you 7yrs to cook that tube.

If you can get into gen 3 nvg on the cheap or for a fair price I almost always say go for it.
