Larry LaLonde ( Primus’s guitarist) also has a metal band, Possesed that toured with Slayer before lur joined Primus. Maybe thats more fitting.

You are correct. Shuldiner was a diamond in the rough and better but possessed seven churches was a new catalyst for death type music as compared to slayer

That new possessed album by Jeff bacera is really good.

Spiritual healing was ahead of it’s time. That’s when I first got into death

No one really liked them at that time.

Then they did human and it got even better
