ofv brass

Re: ofv brass

Some lots are ok, some not. I've loaded some OFV 79 brass 3 times now and while it's not match consistent it works fine. I haven't noticed anything unusual other than how shitty the loaded ammo the brass came from was. You can search around for specific years to stay away from. I think if you're planning to try to work up precision loads it may not be worth the time, but for general range use and fouling shots and such it works fine.

OFV capacity is much less than even LC, FYI. At least with this lot I have, 42.1 grains of Varget in this brass with 168 AMAX gives the same velocity as 44.1 grains in Lapua brass so be careful and start very low.
